This course will explore four main topics: Characteristics of Workplace Violence, The Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, Elements of an Effective Workplace Violence Prevention Plan and How to Handle Violent Situations. Some 2 million American workers are victims of workplace violence each year. Workplace violence can strike anywhere, and no one is immune.
